Space Elevator
We have all heard about Willy Wonka's glass elevator which takes you here there and everywhere. Now think! wouldn't it be good to take an elevator to space? NASA are designing a far out method of taking people and stuff to space.
We are talking about and elevator. This elevator would consist of a cable which will be pinned down to the surface of the planet the cable would then extend out into geostationary orbit using centrifugal force to hold the other end out into space and well gravity to keep it on earth.
Then a elevator car will run up and down the cable delivering people and goods between space and earth without the use of rockets which can be very expensive to fuel.
Well done NASA yet again you have melted my brains.
SPACE MARINES

America wants to start a new elite force of space marines these space marines will be used on space missions to guard americas space assets and perhaps other space projects the superpower has in mind such as a massive space weapon. I believe other countries will soon follow suite as its a race to defend space.
We have all played Warhammer 40,000, a strategy game based on space exploration where you take command of planets and their resources in an epic battle to control the many planets of the solar system. Perhaps there is something they are not sharing with us maybe its the fact that there is other life out there and we need the space marines to protect us from a mass alien invasion.
Well if your looking to become a space marine what does it take i don't think they will just let my fat ass into the space core it must take some pretty sturdy men and woman to start a space core. Hopefully we will see the space marines selection process over time as it progresses.
Augmented Reality

A lot of us dreamed it back in the 90s superimposing video games over the real world so that we may play video games in reality. They have done it with creating augmented reality on cell phones they have also gone as far as to create Call of duty like games which however got banned because it was too ahead of its time, there may have been safety issues or something along the lines of that. But that happened on your cell phone what if we used glasses to view augmented worlds like a pair of shades even, wouldn't that be cool as. Augmented reality (AR) a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world, thus providing a composite view. It all looks good in your head thinking about it, running around killing monsters that aren't there but seeing them through the glasses or on your phone.
It's a cool idea it would make my life especially the life of a gamer way more interesting not just playing the game but running around in the world immersed in the game and interacting with it in reality, in most ways this kind of beats the hell out of virtual reality (VR), but in the same way we could probably use the same technology. The monitors would have to be clear so you could see the real world not only that good enough to look real while it is superimposed onto the landscape you would almost need sensors to map out the terrain. A good example of Augmented reality was Pokemon Go but that was augmented reality in its baby years to make it look good it would have to look real.
I know its all about the gaming for you guys but in reality, this is a gamer magazine that's all we know. Augmented reality could be used in the military for targeting systems or battlefield simulations, in cars for navigation or for simulated driving tests, as a study tool for school right up to the corporate office for model simulations perhaps marketing. There is so much Augmented reality can do for us yet we have to wait until it is better developed. For now, VR is just coming out into the world in time we will see its improvements and hopefully we will see the amalgamation of both VR and AR technologies in the future with a better look and feel it could almost possibly be the next thing to Hologram technology.
That I will talk about another day hopefully soon. For now, we will just have to watch it grow into a beautiful butterfly.
